How this blog came to be...

Well I have blogged before, as a single person, and really liked the process but stopped when I got married...not really sure why.  To view that blog go to www.simpicitywins.blogspot.com

I might go back to that one for more personal postings about me at some point but for now I thought a family type blog would be better.  
Anyway this past weekend I met a gal named Taylor that had a baby girl around Ellie's age.  We were talking about all things baby and breastfeeding came up.  She led me to her blog for a recipe for some "breastfeeding cookies" and I loved it!  Her blog was so fun and such a great way to log her families comings and goings.  I thought it would be really fun way to "record" our life....so here we are....welcome to "Keeping up with the Joneses"  Check back often!

We are a family of 5 with 2 dogs, so life is busy!  My husband John and I got married on February 27, 2010.  He had 2 children at that point, Wesley 14 and Blake 12.  I had 2 dogs Musashi & Chili, both 12 years old.  We found out we were expecting a baby on June 21, 2010.  This would be John's third and my first child.  Little miss Ellie Marie joined our family on February 24, 2011.  We ironically brought her home on our one year wedding anniversary, February 27, 2011.  Now our family is complete.
